I really love your videos! I'm new to calligraphy, and it can seem so overwhelming sometimes, but your videos help me feel like it's doable!
When you brush the water color on, are you brushing it on the underside of the nib? I've heard of a technique where for the first application you apply the paint to top and bottom, then after that you ply swipe the paint on the top side, over the little hole. Just wondering what you do 🙂
Also, when you say "tap off the extra", do you actually mean tap? Or do you run the side/bottom of the nib along the pallet?
Thanks for the great videos 🙂 🙂
